We visited all of the local soapstone suppliers in the tri-state area and decided on Garden State Soapstone after meeting with Jay and seeing his selection of gorgeous stone. It was immediately clear that Jay was a hands-on professional who is passionate about his work and product. It was great dealing directly with Jay rather than the layers of salespeople at all of the other soapstone operations we’d considered.
We couldn’t be happier with our kitchen counters which are a stunning focal point in our farmhouse kitchen. We love the stone so much that we used soapstone on our main bath vanities as well. Gorgeous gorgeous! Soapstone is the most beautiful material, so much warmer than quartz or granite, and Garden State Soapstone is the way to go! Jay’s craftsmanship is impeccable and the finished product is more than we could have hoped for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
