Green Slate: More than a Trend
When you’re working with natural materials, they’re more than a trend. These pieces will stand the test of time. And right now, green slate is having its moment. We love seeing the unique designs people have in their homes, and how the stone contributes to their personal style. Soapstone is also available in green if you prefer that texture.

Outdoor Spaces
Speaking of outdoor spaces, slate and soapstone make the best outdoor kitchen materials because they can withstand all the elements without staining or cracking. That’s the benefit of a non-porous material. We love to see homes creating an outdoor oasis with natural materials that will last for decades.
This home in a shore town has the backyard you’ll never want to leave: grilling area perimeter, a soapstone bar and a fire pit made from Noire slate/soapstone: https://www.instagram.com/p/DAYBznOxPkQ/?img_index=7
